A co-op platform and logic game based on the laws of physics. In Biped we play as two two-legged mini robots who have to work closely together to overcome numerous obstacles. The game was created by independent NEXT Studios.

Biped is a mix of platform and puzzle game, focused on co-op mode. The title was developed by the Chinese developer NExT Studios, responsible for such productions as Bladed Fury, Death Coming and Iris. Fall.

Mechanics

Biped is based on physics and logical puzzles, which require not only thinking, but also dexterity and close cooperation with the other player. During the game, coins and treasures are also collected to improve the appearance of the mini robots.

The game takes place on Earth in such locations as forests, valleys and icebergs. In total there are 30 different levels to overcome with secrets to unlock.

In Biped, we move two small robots, Aku and Sila, using simple controls that are limited - depending on the platform and controllers used - to analog knobs or left and right mouse buttons, which are responsible for the movement of the heroes' legs. In the course of the game, there are moments when they do not just avoid obstacles, but have to perform more complicated tasks such as felling a tree or operating special machines.

Biped can be played in both single and cooperative mode (local and network). The game is designed for two players.

Technical aspects

The graphics is very colourful and charming, without advanced visual effects, but they make up for the fabulous style. The look of little robots was as if taken out alive from contemporary Disney animations.
