On the other side of the mirror is the first installment of the casual mini-cycle developed by Alawar Entertainment's development team. The game is based on classic HOG (Hidden Objects Game) solutions combining puzzles like "hidden objects" and puzzles.
The plot of the game depicts the adventures of a young mother and her son. One day they both decide to go for a walk. A ringtone rings just before leaving. A busy conversation doesn't pay attention to your child. During this time, the boy is transferred to an alternative world stretching beyond the surface of a magical mirror.
The player's task is to help the main heroine regain her son. In order to do this, it is necessary to collect objects needed to overcome the barrier between the worlds. This requires visiting 35 locations and solving dozens of puzzles such as hidden objects and logical mini-games.
The level of difficulty of individual tasks is not excessively demanding. Nevertheless, the developers decided to implement a system of hints, thanks to which even less experienced players are able to deal with the riddles.
On the other side of the mirror is based on solutions known from previous games by Alawar Entertainment studio. Developers again decided on two-dimensional graphics with hand drawn images and a calm background music that allows players to concentrate on tasks.
