Beat Sneak Bandit is an iOS released arcade music game enriched with elements of stealth. The title was developed by the Swedish studio Simogo and it is a premium production, which means that it does not include any micropayments.
The comedy plot of the campaign revolves around a masterpiece known as Baron Clockface, who stole all the clocks in the world. This has, of course, led to mass panic, and the progressing chaos threatens to collapse of the entire human civilisation. What is even worse, it soon turns out that a rogue has specific plans in relation to his booty and intends to construct a time vehicle with the use of it. The last hope of our species becomes a thief with a noble heart (in this role we), on whose shoulders falls the duty to recover clocks and crucify the temptations of Baron.
The game combines traditional mechanisms of its genre with musical game. At every level, our goal is to reach the large clock without triggering an alarm. So we have to avoid guards, traps and security systems, and at the same time each map has its own rhythm, which you have to first bite and then play by tapping on the screen. In this way we move the character with our finger and we have to rip it off in such a way that at the right moments the thief can hide behind a vase or hide in the shade. All control requires only one finger, but contrary to appearances, it does not make production easy at all. It requires excellent reflex and a good sense of rhythm, and each completed level gives a lot of satisfaction. Mental effort is also necessary, as the hero can only turn the other way if he encounters an obstacle. Thus, the passage of each map has to be carefully planned.
In addition to the unusual gameplay, Beat Sneak Bandit also offers high quality workmanship. Cartoon graphics are kept in an unusual but attractive style. Above all, however, the game offers an extremely successful soundtrack and the tapping out of the melodies in the ear gives a lot of joy.
