Third big expansion to the tactical turn-based strategy BattleTech. Add-on called Heavy Metal introduces a new minicampaign, as well as eight previously unavailable weapon systems and the same number of additional mechs. Among the latter there are seven machines known from the original.

Heavy Metal is the title of the third big expansion for BattleTech, a tactical turn-based strategy game from 2018. Like the base version of the game and previous add-ons, the expansion was developed by Harebrained Schemes and published by Paradox Interactive.

Plot

BattleTech: Heavy Metal introduces a new mini-campaign, in which the players face two famous characters from the universe: Wolf's Dragoons mercenaries, known as Bounty Hunter and Black Widow. In addition, the expansion enables us to investigate the secrets of a certain transporter wreck that reached the Periphery.

Flood of Announcements and Trailers from PDXCON 2019

During the PDXCON 2019 event Paradox Interactive went all out. The publisher showed the first trailer of Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood, and announced a bunch of expansions, such as Hearts of Iron IV: La Resistance, Age of Wonders: Planetfall - Revelations, Stellaris: Federations, Prison Architect - Psych Ward: Warden's Edition and BattleTech: Heavy Metal.
