Battlefield 3: Armored Kill Description
Battlefield 3: Armored Kill is the third expansion pack for the Electronic Arts game, developed by a Swedish studio, DICE. The add-on goes back to the roots of the series focusing on big-scale combat. It is addressed to lovers of battles on a massive scale, in which the main role is played by all kinds of military vehicles.
Armored Kill brings four new maps to the game. Among them there is Bandar Desert, which is located in the desert climates and is the largest battlefield ever created in the history of the Battlefield series. With the greater park of machines, you can move through it in, among others, a AC-130 airplane, which is an armed to the teeth version of the transport C-130 Hercules. In addition, the creators from EA DICE gave the players new tanks, armored personnel carriers, helicopters, as well as mobile artillery units. The extension also includes additional tasks, weapons, dog tags, and more than 20 possible pieces of vehicle equipment to unlock.
Just like in the other two DLC add-ons, Armored Kill focuses on multiplayer. Particularly noteworthy is the Tank Superiority mode which is a game mode inspired by the Air Superiority mode known from earlier games of the series. It is somehow similar a little bit to World of Tanks. You play as a crew member of one of the tanks, and in cooperation with other players, you need to destroy the armored forces of the opposing team. EA DICE made sure that it is possible to play this and the other five varieties of gameplay in Battlefield 3 on all available maps.
All the provided extensions have been integrated into the Battlefield 3: Premium service. Armored Forces uses the Frostbite 2 technology to its very limits, which enabled the creation of huge, realistic-looking battlefields of very diverse topography. In Bandar Desert, you can move through the valleys and hills, go to the desert plains, scamper on the highway that crosses them, and finally reach a town built around an oasis. It is also worth noting that the soundtrack reflects the high level of the series.
