Expansion pack to one of the most interesting action games of 2002. Battlefield 1942: The Road to Rome, like the original game, is focused mainly on multiplayer gameplay, and uses Italian and Sicilian campaigns of the Second World War as its historical background. The add-ons includes six new maps which action takes place during, for example, the operation Husky in Sicily or in the course of battles of Anzio and Monte Cassino. There are two additional sides of the conflict: the Italians and French. There are, of course, new vehicles available (eight of them, including the German BF-110 and British Mosquito) as well as hand-held weapons (British Sten SMG, automatic grenade launcher, and so on.).
