Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons of WWII is the second official expansion pack to the award-winning action game, Battlefield 1942. It gives the players the opportunity to try several extremely deadly toys that arose in the German and Allied laboratories during the Second World War. Some of them never went beyond the testing phase, however, thanks to the game, we can see how the war would go if they were used during actual combat.

The player is given eight new campaigns located in different conflict-stricken parts of Europe, such as Telemark, Peenemuende (V2 rockets production facility), Essen, or The Eagle's Nest (Hitler's hideout).

Thirty vehicles available in the basic version of the game were extended by a further sixteen such as the famous German Flying Wing Horten HO 229, American Sherman tank equipped with a T-34 Calliope rocket launcher, Goblin jetfighter, C-47 transport aircraft, Armstrong Whitworth AW-52, the German Wasserfall guided missiles, and so on.
