Battledots Description
Battledots is a minimalist strategy game with tower defense elements, designed for mobile devices. The production was developed by KM-Games, the creators of Spataps. The title was released in a premium model which means that it doesn't contain any microtransactions.
Mechanics
Battledots combines elements of real-time strategy and tower defense. The game is rather minimalistic - both in terms of graphics and gameplay mechanics. This means that the game can be enjoyed by both veterans of the genres as well as complete beginners.
The gameplay boils down to taking part in the clashes of two dotted armies, played on small maps divided into five paths. The goal of the game is to level the opponent's base with the ground. The player does this with the help of six types of units, selected before each battle from a pool of fifteen available. They differ in skills - some only attack, others defend our headquarters or repair the damage caused. We can also use special power-ups that appear on the battlefield, which can change the course of the battle in a few seconds.
Game modes
Battledots offers several gameplay modes. In addition to the unquestionable star, a cross-platform network multiplayer, allowing users of Android, iOS and Windows Phone to have fun together, we can test the local multiplayer mode (competition of two people on one device), as well as an extensive solo campaign divided into 100 missions that should provide at least a few hours of entertainment. The game also has an endless option with infinite gameplay, which supports online rankings.
