Battlecruiser 3000AD is an extremely detailed spacecraft simulator. The production of the game lasted almost ten years and millions of dollars were spent, thanks to which the game uses the latest advanced technologies in areas such as artificial intelligence. The game is the most advanced simulation created so far.
In the game we command and pilot a military space destroyer equipped with four fighters, four landings and four land vehicles. All of them must be controlled manually. We can give orders to the destroyer's crew, which consists of more than 150 people such as officers, engineers, medicine, commandos and fighter pilots. We can obtain raw materials on planets or moons using mining equipment. Enemy targets on planets and in space can be attacked with the help of fighters, ground vehicles or commandos. The destroyer's personnel can be exchanged on planets as well as in space. The crew and the ship are controlled by such commands as "search and destroy", "attack", "escort", "weapons" and many others. With the help of transporters we take new members of the crew from the surface. The surface of the planets can also be attacked from the orbit with tactical weapons. We obtain information about unknown areas by means of sent probes, which provide us with all obtained data. In space stations and bases we can sell and buy thousands of different items.
Destroyer we move through a fully dynamic universe inhabited by thirteen foreign races, such as Gammulans or Vesperoni. In space we will encounter 25 different castes, both military, mercenaries, robbers, scientists, merchants, diplomats and others. We can visit 25 solar systems containing a total of 75 planets and 145 moons, all modeled in 3D. We can move through various anomalies such as star gates or subspace ducts. Searching the asteroid fields you will find abandoned trays with goods. Each of the planets or moons we visit has a unique topology, climate, time zones, cities, bases and other attractions. The whole universe evolves and changes. After destroying the enemy base, it is rebuilt over time and re-staffed.
Our spacecraft is fully modeled. We have access to various computer, engineering, tactical, cargo, communication, navigation, power and other systems. The destroyer can be repaired and improved with new components. We have a detailed insight into the statistics of each person in our crew, receiving on an ongoing basis such data as fatigue, health and other attributes. We can accurately manage the actions of the personnel during the operations of commandos or evacuation of the crew from the endangered zone. Dead crew members can be cloned thanks to the DNA archive or rent new ones at star stations. Individual crew members are manned in the right places depending on their skills and attributes. We assign the best pilots, commando landers, etc. to fighters.
The game is completely non-linear, allowing for any actions in the universe. Three unique game modes allow you to choose whether you want to be the commander of the Earth's galaxy fleet, the commander of the galaxy to bring law and order to the united area, or simply the discoverer of new space spaces.
