Battle Battalions PC

Battle Battalions is an unusual free-to-play network game, a hybrid of real-time strategy and MOBA production. It is the work of the renowned Petroglyph studio, which created Star Wars: Empire at War and which used to be a part of Westwood Studios - the team responsible for initiating the Command & Conquer cycle. This item is an adaptation of Victory, placed by Petroglyph on Kickstarter at the beginning of 2013 and quickly withdrawn from the site under the pretext of finding a publisher for it. It is also worth mentioning that Battle Battalions was previously known as Victory Command.

Mechanics

The action of this game takes place in modern times, but it is detached from any real armed conflicts. The game focuses on the duels of two 5-person teams of players. Each participant of the game leads to the battle battalion of the army of the chosen type - infantry, reconnaissance vehicles or tanks. Each of these types of units is further subdivided into different varieties. The Battle Battalions struggle is dynamic and spectacular - the duels last no more than 10 minutes - but the key to winning is tactical thinking, as well as cooperation between team members and combining the capabilities of different types of troops.

Technical issues

Battle Battalions graphic design does not compromise on the quality of workmanship, but is colorful and pleasing to the eye, and does not overburden the computer - so it has all the features that usually have network games aimed at the mass audience.
