Baten Kaitos II is another, after Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean, version of cRPG game, designed for GameCube console and produced by Monolith Software development studio. The action of this title takes place in the same fantastic world as in the first part of the cycle, where all residents have wings. The plot, on the other hand, takes us twenty years before the events, known from the "one".

The main character is a young man named Saga, who sets off on a journey to find the source of a series of unnatural phenomena. In his adventure he is accompanied by a girl named Milly and a mysterious, mechanical doll called Giro. As it usually happens in the genre of cRPG, over time the team grows with new members, including those known from the first part of the game.

During the game, the player will find himself in a completely new area, as the creators have prepared two fresh continents for exploration. There is also the possibility of visiting "old" locations. The kernel of the whole gameplay is again made up of special cards, power carriers called Magnus, which are used, among other things, in combat. Magnus is the true nature of all things and beings living in the world, thanks to which we can transform virtually any object into energy and somehow pour it into a card in this form. Then such a card serves as a combat option. In addition, we have a separate waist, which we use as magic and thus raise the attack power.
