Base One is a science fiction strategy RPG. During the game players take the role of commander of space fleet which is looking for new home for humanity.
Base One is a strategy game with RPG elements. During the adventure we take the role of the manager of space fleet traversing the galaxy.
Plot
Base One is set in postapocalyptic vision of the future. Big wormhole destroyed the Moon. It caused a series of natural disasters on Earth and forced mankind to escape into space. For this purpose, a special program "Solution" was created. During the adventure, players assume the role of a ship manager and attempt to find a new habitable planet.
Mechanics
In Base One, players must expand their ships. There are a number of different modules at his disposal, each of which plays a specific role (e.g. solar panels provide electricity). In some of them you also need to put appropriate equipment. At the same time, you have to control the parameters (such as oxygen levels, water and heating) of the entire ship network.
In order to improve the ships, players need to gather resources. To do so, you have to organize space expeditions. These are carried out by assigned ships. In addition, you must also equip your fleet with a defense system.
Proper people management also plays an important role in the game. Each of the crew members has a unique set of features. Thanks to this they perform better at specific positions.
