Aya and the Cubes of Light
Release Date: August 25, 2011
Arcade, science fiction, platformers, Nintendo exclusive, singleplayer
A 2D platformer in space, where gravity plays a major role. The game is characterized by quite a high level of difficulty, the need to perform various gestures with the help of the controller and numerous logical puzzles.
The main character is Aya, who sets off on a space rescue mission. The mechanical guardian Cseom, who has been guarding special energetic bones that allow the stars to shine, suddenly starts to disconnect them. To restore the proper functioning of the celestial bodies, the bluethroat starts a long expedition through three constellations.
The creators of the whole system of the game built around the phenomenon of gravity. Each board has its own attraction, which allows Aya to move on certain planes. Wii holders must exercise this law of physics in such a way as to overcome all obstacles and at the same time not lose control of the surface. This often means moving on walls or even upside down. The task is also hindered by the changing perspective and numerous chasms and blockades.
Aya and the Cubes of Lights is very active in using Wii's capabilities. Production requires players to constantly move and make multiple gestures to perform certain actions, such as connecting batteries to reactors. The whole is also characterized by a high level of difficulty and the presence of many complex logical puzzles at complex levels. The action is presented in the style typical for 2D platformers, although the camera often changes its position to show further fragments of the planets visited.
