A game which gives us an opportunity to ride ATVs while participating in insane racing events all over the globe. Developed by Nighthawk Interactive, ATV Renegades offers both competition for the best position on the finish line, and for the highest point score, rewarding the player for performing spectacular tricks.
ATV Renegades for XONE and PS4 is an arcade racing game created by Nighthawk Interactive. The team is popular for multi-platform games, and this particular title is one of them.
Mechanics
As the title suggests, the game places the player in control of ATVs and gives them an opportunity to participate in insane racing events taking place all over the globe. The 24 tracks will take the player to the USA, Canada, Russia, Mexico, as well as to both Thailand and England. The diversity of the terrain made it possible to use natural hills as jumps, though artificial ones also make their appearance in the game. Once in mid-air, the player can perform spectacular tricks in order to refill their nitro bar, which is crucial for gaining positions. Furthermore, before proper racing begins, the player can choose an outfit for their rider, as well as the type of ATV they will use to reach for victory – particular machines differ both in statistics and performances.
Game modes
ATV Renegades for XONE and PS4 offers a lot of game modes. The core component is the single-player World Tour mode, which encompasses six championships made up of four separate tournaments. In the Quick Race mode, the player competes against AI-controlled opponents; the Freestyle mode on the other hand, is based on performing the most spectacular and complex tricks in order to score as many points as possible. Technical aspects
