Atomic Society Description
Atomic Society is a city builder, the debut game of Far Road Games studio. While playing the game, the player gets to the post-apocalyptic world and his task is to expand his own town.
Plot
Atomic Society action is taking place in unspecified times. In this reality, the world was destroyed in a nuclear war. The player takes on the role of the governor of the settlement where the survivors of the disaster live.
Mechanics
Atomic Society is a classic city builder. The player starts his adventure by choosing the location where he will build his city. In total, the creators implemented 9 such places, differing in terms of terrain and climate.
A total of 33 buildings are in the game. Each structure has different functions in the city ( food production, settler treatment and crime control).
Each inhabitant of the settlement has a number of indicators that define its condition. If the player doesn't make sure they're full enough, the settler will die. In addition, in the game there is a possibility to create your own colonist.
While playing, you should also react to various obstacles that haunt the city. These include illness, care for the elderly and crime. Particular focus was placed on the latter element. Residents can commit many different crimes (including murder and drug abuse). The player must locate the criminal and decide what punishment to give him.
At the Atomic Society, the city is vulnerable to looters attacks from outside the city. To avoid losses, the player has to place defensive constructions or make a deal with the invaders.
Game modes
In Atomic Society you can only play alone.
Technical aspects
Atomic Society has a three-dimensional graphic design in dark colours. The gameplay is shown in an isometric view.
