Atlantis: Pearls of the Deep Description
Atlantis: Pearls of the Deep is the work of Alder Games, a Hungarian studio specializing in games for the casual market, such as Magical Mysteries: Path of the Sorceress, Bee Garden: The Lost Queen and others. The title was created in cooperation with the American company Legacy Games.
Atlantis: Pearls of the Deep is an unofficial sequel to the game Legends of Atlantis: Exodus, released two years earlier. The inhabitants of Atlantis are once again in danger - mysterious evil forces weaken the energy shield that protects their underwater city. The Queen calls on the people of the sea to help, asking them to find magical crystals whose power can prevent a catastrophe.
The player must help the inhabitants of the depths to collect enough magic crystals to repair the shield. The game is based on the rules of casual match-3 games, but has been enriched with expanded, as for this type of production, physics. The game consists of dropping individual pearls in such a way that they merge with at least three other pearls of the same colour, which leads to their removal. The task is complicated by various mechanisms placed on the boards, such as reels, slipways, etc. The task is complicated by various mechanisms placed on the boards, such as reels, slipways, etc. For the completion of each level, i.e. the removal of all pearls, there is a specific time limit.
The creators prepared more than 60 boards, differing not only in appearance, but also in the scale of difficulty. In addition to the main campaign, the game also offers two additional game modes - Challenging Mode - an attempt to beat the record score and Zen Mode - a relaxing game.
Atlantis: Pearls of the Deep is distinguished by its high-quality visuals with two-dimensional graphics and a large number of impressive animations. Also noteworthy is the calm background music, which makes the fun and at the same time allows you to focus your attention on the gameplay.
