Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky DX is an enhanced version of the fifteenth installment in the Japanese RPG series called Atelier. In addition to all the DLCs designed for the original game, this production has been enriched with new features to improve exploration and combat against opponents. Koei Tecmo is behind the development and release of this position.

Plot

The action of Atelier Escha and Logy: The Alchemists of the Dusk Sky DX takes place some time after the events presented in Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk DX. The main characters of this production are 15-year-old Escha Malier, an ambitious student of alchemy, and Logix Ficsario, an 18-year-old student who is not only familiar with this almost completely forgotten art, but also knows how to use a sword. The paths of both heroes cross, and their destiny is to learn the secrets of a world in danger of extinction. Interestingly, this time the authors allow us to choose which character we want to be during the game. The decision we make affects not only how the adventure ends, but also what events we take part in on the way to the final.

Mechanics

In Atelier Escha and Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky DX, the action is shown from a third-person perspective (TPP). The most important element of the game is an extensive alchemy system, which allows you to create new items. However, in order to use it, we need to have appropriate components, which are differentiated in terms of quality and properties affecting their usefulness. Besides, in order to create more advanced works, we must gradually develop our workshop.

In addition, during the game, we travel to different locations and conduct conversations with characters, as well as perform tasks that move the story forward. Also important here are turn-based clashes with opponents, in which it is as important as skillful use of the abilities of individual team members (as we progress, we are joined by other heroes and the team can have a maximum of six members), to place them properly on the battlefield. The game does not lack a character development system, so we may face increasing challenges over time.

The DX version has been enriched with the function of running significantly accelerating the movement through locations, as well as the "Fast-forward Battle", influencing the pace of skirmishes.

Technical aspects

The graphic design of Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky DX has been maintained in an eye-catching, manga-like style. The character design was the responsibility of an artist known as Hidari, and it all works based on the LTGL technology developed for the Dynasty Warriors series.
