The first big expansion for the popular space sandbox. Astroneer: Glitchwalkers takes us to an enormous planet called Aeoluz, full of diverse biomes. Our character's main task is to stop a rebellious astronaut and we can rely on new technologies to make that happen.

Astroneer: Glitchwalkers is the first major expansion for the sandbox game titled Astroneer, allowing us to play as astronauts exploring alien planets. The DLC was developed by the authors of the base game, namely the independent studio System Era Softworks.

Plot

The action in Astroneer: Glitchwalkers takes place in a new planetary system, or more precisely – on the planet Aeoluz. It is the largest and most complex of all the globes we have been able to visit so far. The plot of the expansion focuses on a rebellious astronaut who hacked into the system and took control of a great power, threatening anyone who tries to stand in their way. Of course, our task is to thwart their plans before it's too late.

Gameplay

Astroneer: Glitchwalkers does not introduce revolutionary changes to mechanics. During the game we explore the surface of the planet Aeoluz, where we find various biomes. We also collect useful items and resources with the help of which we develop new, previously unavailable technologies. These last ones increase our chances of survival in a dangerous world and allow us to traverse it far and wide, to explore its mysteries and to stop the rebel.
