Mechanics

As the title suggest, the game is a part of the popular Asphalt mobile franchise, although it differs greatly from the previous installments. Asphalt Street Storm Racing focuses exclusively on drag racing.

Mechanics-wise, the game does not differ much from other drag-racing-themed productions. You have no control over the steering wheel, the roads have no turns or branches, and you can't even change the traffic lane. The car always rushes forwards, and your task is to choose the right moments to change gear or activate boosters.

The levels are set in large cities, such as New York, Paris, and Hong Kong. Victories are richly rewarded, allowing you to unlock many sports cars and modify them as you please. There is also a weather system, which affects the way the cars go.

Game mode

You can play Asphalt Street Storm Racing on your own in the career mode, or compete with others in the multiplayer mode for up to four players.

Technical aspects

The game features attractive and very detailed visuals, which was made possible thanks to the fact that the engine only has to generate cars moving in a straight line for a short time.
