Ashes Cricket for PC, XONE and PS4 is a cricket simulator developed by Big Ant Studios. The title was developed in cooperation with organization Cricket Australia. It is the first game of Big Ant Studios developed based on a sport license.
Mechanics
Ashes Cricket for PC, XONE and PS4 is a classic sports simulator. This means that it focuses on possibly realistic recreation of its discipline. According to the developers, it is the most realistic and authentic recreation of cricket in the history of video games. In Ashes Cricket the player controls actual players from English and Australian leagues and he or she plays in locations based on actual places related to this sports discipline.
Technical aspects
The PC, XONE and PS4 version of the game features nicely done graphics. The title uses photogrammetry technology to assure that the computer-generated players are similar to their real versions. Stadiums are recreated with focus on characteristic details as well.
