Asdivine Hearts Description
Asdivine Hearts is a Japanese RPG developed by Kemco, a studio specializing in this genre.
Plot
The action of Asdivine Hearts takes place in the magical land known as Asdivine. A year before the start of the campaign, the whole world was briefly flooded with dazzlingly bright light. When it disappeared, unnaturally strong shadows appeared on mortals' lands and since then they have become darker and darker. Most people ignore this phenomenon without realizing that it heralds the arrival of a truly apocalyptic threat. The game tells the story of a young man named Zack and his childhood friend Stella. During their stay in the capital, they meet a certain cat which is an incarnation of the deity of light. The animal convinces them that the world faces deadly danger and that they must stop this extermination.
Mechanics
In terms of gameplay mechanics, Asdivine Hearts is a classic Japanese RPG. While having fun, we explore the world, talk to NPCs, fulfil missions and fight in turn-based battles. The creators designed a quite complicated combat system, which is characterized by a large selection of special skills, high level of difficulty and the presence of numerous terrain obstacles on the maps.
Of course, the game also has a progression system, in which team members accumulate experience points, allowing to improve statistics and learn new skills. In addition, each character has a special box named rubix. During the campaign, we can gain magical jewelry, which after putting it into a particular compartment, provides its owner with additional power and useful bonuses.
Technical aspects
Asdivine Hearts offers 2D graphics, which are made in the style typical of Japanese comics and animations. The game was designed to look similar to 32-bit jRPGs.
