Arena Football: Road to Glory Description
Arena Football: Road to Glory is an extension of Arena Football released a year earlier. The creators decided to leave the skeleton of the game unchanged and introduced only minor corrections aimed at increasing the fun flowing from the game. The biggest difference is the updated line-ups for the 2007 season, as well as the addition of the second league of indoor football matches AF2.
As in the previous year, we stand before the chance to take part in meetings held in closed facilities. Compared to the classic NFL rules there are many differences. A smaller pitch fifty yards long surrounded by protective barriers determines a completely different way of playing the action. The teams consist of eight players who often play in both attack and defense formations.
In achieving the final victory, it is much easier to play with the top than relying on the RB. The creators introduced an interesting solution concerning the interaction between the playmaker and the recipient of the long pass. While throwing the ball, we can direct both players at the same time, in order to make the best possible use of the action, although it requires a lot of skill.
Arena Football: Road to Glory introduces minor improvements in career mode. From now on, we can create our own playbooks by trying to adapt the tactics to the preferred style of play. With time we unblock new teams. Training options have been enriched with attempts to score goals from different distances.
The audiovisual layer looks the same as the year before. The creators decided not to make any significant changes. Comments during the meeting are limited to the announcer's information about the number of yards scored, points, etc. The commentary during the meeting is limited to the announcer's information about the number of yards scored, points, etc. The commentary is also limited to the number of yards scored.
