A stand-alone version of a card mini-game known from Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor and Might and Magic VIII: Day of the Destroyer. The player's task is to defend his own tower and at the same time to destroy the opponent's tower using cards with different types of spells. The title was produced by Stickman Games studio in cooperation with New World Computing.

Arcomage is a simple, card mini-game, which was originally an element of the game cRPG Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor and Might and Magic VIII: Day of the Destroyer. However, players liked the game to such an extent that the publisher - 3DO Company decided to release also its own version.

Game, whose action was set in the realities of fantasy, is devoid of a clearly outlined plot. The player plays the role of a powerful magician, who has to protect his magical tower with various spells and at the same time defeat the competitor.

Mechanics of the game is based on very simple rules. Each player has a deck of cards with spells, a tower and a defensive wall. At the same time there can be 6 randomly picked cards in the player's hand. Their use depends on having a large amount of raw materials generated in each round - jewels (spells with a tower), bricks (spells with a wall) and undergrounds (spells with beasts).
