The ninth add-on to Anno 1800, an economic strategy game developed by Ubisoft Blue Byte studio. In Anno 1800: The High Life we can build skyscrapers and shopping malls in our city, as well as construct a new monument - the Empire State Building.
The High Life is the ninth DLC included in the season passes for the popular economic strategy Anno 1800. Ubisoft Blue Byte studio - authors of the main game and all previous expansions - developed this DLC.
Mechanics
As the title suggests, the biggest new feature introduced in Anno 1800: The High Life are modular skyscrapers capable of housing large numbers of residents while taking up relatively little space. Apart from that, the add-on brings the possibility to build shopping malls, and introduces new types of goods that can be sold in them. The icing on the cake here is the tallest monument in the game, the Empire State Building.
Together with the described DLC, the twelfth update to the game debuted. It introduced a new scoring system, thanks to which we can check how our metropolis looks like against cities built by other players.
Technical aspects
The High Life is a non standalone add-on, so it requires Anno 1800 to work. The add-on brings no changes to the audiovisual layer.
