American Theft 80s Description
American Theft 80s is a thief simulator set in the 1980s in the United States. The game offers a number of different locations and items to steal. The game was developed and published by the creators of Thief Simulator, the Polish team Noble Muffins. The publisher is the PlayWay.
Mechanics
In American Theft 80s we observe the action from the third person perspective (TPP). The gameplay consists in moving around the game world and stealing in various locations, such as houses, banks, caravans, shops or mansions (we can enter any building we come across).
Stealing requires caution, patience and proper preparation. Among the goods we can find TV sets, VHS tapes and video players. If something goes wrong and we are caught, we can always try to escape from the police during a spectacular chase or bribe officers.
The thief, controlled by the player, uses a number of different tools in his work - including lockpicks and a crowbar - and disguises (we pretend to be, for example, an electrician or a policeman). For completing tasks we receive money (we can buy cars and houses, which can also be decorated). Gradually, our reputation grows, thanks to which we gain access to new jobs.
In the game we can also find a number of mini games, which represent e.g. video games available on slot machines.
Game modes
In American Theft 80s we can play only solo. The core of the game is the single player mode.
Technical aspects
American Theft 80s has a rather simple 3D graphic design, which does not stand out in any special way.
