Top Gun: Combat Zones Description
Top Gun: Combat Zones is a title based on a well-known film hit from the turn of the 80's and Tom Cruise in the lead role, entitled "The Cruises". "Top Gun (Paramount Pictures license). In this production we become a pilot of an American fighter aircraft, which faces 36 different combat tasks to perform, located in three different periods of time. This is a pure arcade game (Arcade/Action), therefore, we don't see here any realistic control model, advanced physical engine or high A.I. computer opponents, only a fast-paced action, dozens of enemies to knock down and blow up. The game is presented in three-dimensional graphics, and combat missions take place in four different locations: Southeast Asia, Persian Gulf, Arctic Circle, Miramar Base, in different environments: by deserts, by the sea, in polar or heavily urbanized areas. Three basic machines F-14, F-18, F-22 and five hidden, "bonus" planes were handed over to us. After completing each task, we can see its progress thanks to the "Replay" function. It is also possible to create unique missions in the "Quickstart mode" game mode, where we choose the plane, type of terrain, level of difficulty and type of opponents.
