Aliens: A Comic Book Adventure is an FPP adventure game based on a series of comic books published by American company Dark Horse Comics, set in the popular universe of the Alien series. The French Cryo Interactive team is responsible for the creation of the game, with such recognized titles as Dune or Megarace.

The story takes place after the events illustrated in the Aliens: Labyrinth series of comics. Their protagonist is Lieutenant Colonel Henry Hericksen, a former marine colonial and now head of a three-person terraforming team, which adapts the new planets for colonization. During one of his missions, his ship, USS Sheridan, unexpectedly captures the S.O.S. signal from the B54-C station in an isolated mining colony. As you can easily guess, the perpetrators of the commotion are xenomorphs, and our team will have to discover the reasons for the destruction of the post and face foreigners.

Aliens: A Comic Book Adventure was created in the classic point-n-click style, and the developments are observed from a first person perspective. The only exceptions are FMV interludes and battle scenes, which are shown in isometric view. The game boils down to exploring new locations, collecting items and talking to the characters you meet. The authors have prepared for the players a number of logical puzzles and numerous arcade sequences. An additional difficulty is the fleeing time, which was set for us to perform particular tasks.

Gloomy colors of the game's graphic design is composed of prerendered locations, which are composed of hand drawn characters of the heroes. The creators of the game tried to reflect the characteristic atmosphere prevailing in the film's prototype. During the game we are accompanied by the ubiquitous sense of threat and claustrophobic tightness of the corridors, and the main goal of the characters is a desperate struggle for survival.
