Trauma is the second DLC for Alien: Isolation, a first-person survival horror set in the Alien universe. It is another expansion available as a part of the season pass.
Trauma is composed of three story mission with challenges, playable in Survivor Mode. In those, we visit previously unavailable locations on the Sevastopol Station and control a new hero, dr Lingard. She is a medical officer of the station and feels responsible for bringing the Alien on board and, as a result, all the chaos that the beast has unleashed. The woman sets out to atone for her supposed fault by destroying all data and results of Xenomorph studies on Sevastopol, so as to prevent them from getting into the wrong hands. The protagonist also aims to help the survivors whenever possible. During all of these activities, she has to watch out for the Alien, of course, as well as the hostile androids.
In Survivor Mode, the point score is as important as the story; it is summed up after the completion of a stage on the basis of the time it took us to complete, “quality” of our actions, and the number of side quest which we managed to complete, so Trauma gives us another opportunity to compete with other players in the world-wide Internet rank.
