Alien Hominid Invasion is a shoot'em up with RPG elements and a reboot of the Alien Hominid series, which originated in 2004. The game was once again developed by The Behemoth, who have made sure the reboot meets modern standards while maintaining the spirit of the original.

Plot

The protagonists of Alien Hominid Invasion are aliens, invading the Earth Their task is not easy, as they must first face legions of human agents and soldiers.

Mechanics

Alien Hominid Invasion is a side-scroller. The players traverse diverse, procedurally generated levels, fighting hordes of enemies. Alongside regular foes we'll also face powerful bosses. Combat is fast-paced, having us fire away at enemies, avoiding their attacks and collecting power-ups. Some levels also hide secret data, which we can intercept to sabotage the humanity's defenses.

As we progress through the game, we level up, learning new abilities such as healing, super speed or flight. We can also grow more powerful by gaining better weapons.

Game modes

Alien Hominid Invasion supports singleplayer as well as local and online co-op for up to four players.

Technical aspects

Alien Hominid Invasion retains the original's cartoonish, exaggerated artstyle. The game has been adapted to modern standards, its fast pace intensified by the electronic soundtrack.
