Game modes

AirportSim is an airport simulator, during which we handle the ground work. It was developed based on detailed documentation and interviews with airport employees, while the vehicles and planes within are based on authentic machines. The game was co-created by MS Games and MK Studios.

Mechanics

AirportSim tasks us with handling ground work on an airport. We must secure stationed airplanes, refuel them and much more. We'll get to control many different vehicles, such as luggage carts, tankers, trucks and passenger buses. We'll also move jet bridges and handle catering.

The game features realistic weather based on real information from the METAR (Meteorological Aerodrome Report) system used in aviation meteorology. The players can choose their own settings as well. The simulator also reflects the position of the sun, current date and season.

Licenses

The game was developed with help from real airlines (including EnterAir, Wizz Air and Atlantic Airways) and aircraft manufacturers. This means the game features authentic planes (like the Airbus A320neo) and vehicles (Goldhofer Bison D1000, TLD TMX-150, Hitzinger D Power), all with realistic physics, speed limits and functionality. The available airports in AirportSim have also been faithfully reproduced, including airports in Vágar, Keflavík, Warsaw and Key West.

Game modes

Players who prefer realism can test their skills in ranked challenges or pre-made scenarios, featuring pre-set weather, many flights and the mandatory need to do everything in the correct order. AirportSim also features free play without any limitations or objectives, and co-op. You can also create your own scenarios and share them with the community.
