Airframe Ultra Description
Airframe Ultra is an action racing game inspired by such series as Twisted Metal, Carmageddon and Vigilante. It was developed by an indie studio Videocult, also known for the warmly received Rain World.
Plot
The story of Airframe Ultra doesn't matter much. Players must participate in anti-gravitational motorcycle races in pursuit of thrills, glory and riches.
Mechanics
Airframe Ultra revolves around riding hoverbikes - motorbike-like hovering vehicles. Players must race on them on various tracks - the cracked roads of San Juaro, atmospheric edgelands of Ysidro and the mega cities of the Texicali ZEGO zone.
To succeed, we must learn the tracks and arenas, filled with obstacles and ramps, but also hinder our opponents using a wide roster of weaponry; aside from firearms, we'll get to wield other projectile weapons as well.
Game modes
Airframe Ultra supports singleplayer and split-screen local multiplayer.
Technical aspects
Airframe Ultra makes use of a low-poly artstyle reminiscent of PS1 games.
