The second part of the Polish QubicGames studio's aeronautical arcade races was created - similarly to the previous one - by separating from one, larger production. Unlike the twin AiRace, this time the arena of struggles are tight and winding tunnels, and we sit at the helm of futuristic flying machines.

AiRace: Tunnel is the second installment of AiRace arcade air racing, although it would be hard to call it a continuation, because both games debuted in DSiWare almost at the same time, as separate versions of the same, larger title. The game was developed by QubicGames studio in Warsaw, which, despite the low popularity of Nintendo handhelds in our country, decided to devote itself to producing games for this platform.

The mechanics of both games is basically identical, although there are two main differences. While in AiRace we race in open spaces, in AiRace: the arena of competition are tight, futuristic tunnels. During the race, many obstacles in the form of partitions that rotate, open or close, requiring players to squeeze through a narrow isthmus or hole, make play more difficult. The futuristic character of the game is also emphasized by futuristic machines, which replaced the classic planes known from AiRace. During the race, the cars are constantly accelerating, so as time passes, more and more concentration and even exorbitant reflexes are needed.
