Aion: Legions of War is a mobile action RPG developed by NCSoft, the company whose portfolio includes such games as the Lineage series or, above all, Aion, which is available on PC. This title is distributed in a freemium model.

Plot

Aion: Legions of War takes us into the fantasy world of Atreia, known from the aforementioned Aion. After the final clash with the dragon ruler, Empyreans and Daevas were almost completely annihilated, the conflict between the Elyos and Asmodian races is once again gaining momentum.

The main protagonist of the story is Ren, in whose veins flows the blood of both factions. When his brother is murdered during a mission to save the priestess Astria, Ren, burning with lust for revenge, gathers a party with which he travels through Atreia, gradually discovering the truth about the dark forces threatening the existence of this land.

Mechanics

In Aion: Legions of War the action is shown from behind the character (TPP). In the course of the game we travel through various locations, perform story quests, acquire new companions of different origins and combat skills (during the adventure we can be joined by more than a hundred of them - from heavy-armed knights to powerful monsters or huge cyborgs), and we also face enemies.

Battles with enemies take place in real-time, and we eliminate them using both melee weapons and a wide range of spells. As we progress, we develop the characters by unlocking new skills (led by the Awakening power, changing the protagonist's appearance and providing him with additional abilities) and acquiring better equipment.

Game modes

Aion: Legions of War can be played solo, but the title was developed primarily for multiplayer fun on the Internet. Special events and numerous challenges await the players interested in multiplayer gameplay, as well as the opportunity to wander through the vast dungeons or fight PvP duels.

Technical aspects

3D graphics of Aion: Legions of War present high quality. Attention is drawn to both detailed locations and special effects accompanying spellcasting.
