Aimlabs is a unique game best describes as a virtual shooting range or training ground for players wishing to improve their skills in shooters. It's a free-to-play production created by an indie studio Statespace.
Mechanics
Aimlabs is a first-person game (FPP). It lets us test our skills on a virtual battlefield, after which it analyzes our performance and points out our weaknesses. Dutiful training will develop our accuracy, attention span, short-term memory, ability to detect targets faster through sight and hearing, as well as instant decision-making.
The game features a vast roster of weaponry, such as machine guns, shotguns, sniper rifles, handguns and rocket launchers. It also features a wide range of modifications to tailor the game to our preferences. We can either change the settings manually or choose a pre-made configuration, each of which represents one of over 500 popular shooters, including Apex Legends, Destiny 2, Valorant, PUBG: Battlegrounds, Overwatch and Counter Strike: Global Offensive.
All this culminates in tools to create our own maps, bots and training sets.
Technical aspects
Due to its concept, Aimlabs features uncluttered, low poly visuals with not much detail. Our primary shooting targets are colorful shapes.
