A turn-based strategy game that combines the rules of Risk, a popular board game, with the gameplay solutions employed in the Total War series. Noble Master’s production is based on the free-to-play model and offers optional microtransactions; the free version includes one map, while the remaining ones need to be purchased. In Age of Conquest IV, the player becomes the head of one of the several available nations — ancient, medieval, or later ones — and their goal is to progressively conquer the territories controlled by other participants. Matches take place on different maps that can span across Europe, the colonial areas, Asian empires, North America, or even the entire globe. The decisions concerning economic development, military management, and waging war are taken in turns. Age of Conquest IV offers various solo and multiplayer game modes. The players can compete in the free-for-all mode or form teams with the users of other platforms. The title features simple and clear graphics as well as an intelligible map and scenario editor.
