Adventure Time: Puzzle Quest Description
Adventure Time: Puzzle Quest is a match-3 puzzle game with RPG elements, created under the license of the popular Adventure Time animated series, aired on the Cartoon Network channel. The game was developed by WayForward (e.g. DuckTales: Remastered, as well as several Adventure Time games released on consoles) and Demiurge (Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign).
Plot
The production combines match-3 mechanics with RPG elements. The player takes on the role of a boy named Finn, who is accompanied by the unusual dog Jake. The protagonists embark on a dangerous journey through the colorful and magical Land of Ooo on a post-apocalyptic Earth. During the expedition, they face a variety of opponents and are helped by NPCs such as the penguin Gunter.
Mechanics
In Adventure Time: Puzzle Quest, we combine identical crystals to charge the attacks assigned to individual heroes. The core of the game is turn-based battles, based on the basic assumptions of the RPG genre. Between battles, we develop Finn and Jake's skills and equip them with better offensive and defensive equipment (creators promise hundreds of different items). In addition to the solo campaign, there are daytime challenges and online tournaments involving players from all over the world.
Technical aspects
Adventure Time: Puzzle Quest is maintained in 2D graphics convention characteristic of the animated series.
