ABBA You Can Dance is a music dance game devoted entirely to ABBA band. This title was developed by Ubisoft Paris, the people who started the popular dance game series Just Dance. Similarly to other games of the type, your job is to imitate moves of virtual dancers, using hand-held Wiimote, as closely as possible. The game records each performance and assesses how close it was to the model proposed by creators. Choreography and dance moves seen on the screen were inspired by on-scene performance of the Swedish group as well as their music videos. Up to four people can play the game simultaneously.
Apart from dancing, the game can also serve as karaoke simulation, since lyrics currently played songs are displayed on the screen. If you do not fancy being a solo singer, you can always challenge another vocalist to a duel, in which the winner is the one who can sing a well-known hit better than the other. Interestingly, players can also take part in Musical Mode, where different songs are combined into one original love story.
ABBA fans should also be pleased that the game contains a number of original music videos, as well as a mini-encyclopedia full of various facts and trivia about the Swedes.
