A Vampyre Story: Year One Description
Vampyre Story: Year One is an episodic series of adventure games set before the events of A Vampyre Story and A Vampyre Story 2: A Bat's Tale. Autumn Moon studio is responsible for the production again. It was founded in 2004 by Bill Tiller - a true veteran of the industry and a man who designed the graphic design of such classics as Full Throttle, Outlaws or The Curse of Monkey Island. In addition, Larry Ahren and Jesse Clark took part in the creation of Vampyre Story: Year One, i.e. people who were responsible for scripts and riddles in such hits as Full Throttle, Sam and Max: Hit the Road or The Curse of Monkey Island mentioned earlier.
Again, we play the role of Mona, a famous opera singer transformed into a vampire. It is traditionally accompanied by Froderick, a bat endowed with a sarcastic sense of humour. During our adventures we will visit Warg Castle and many other locations in the land of Draxslywania.
Vampyre Story: Year One is a pure point & click adventure. The whole game consists in exploring successive locations, searching for objects, conducting conversations and solving riddles. The strength of the game is graphics. The cartoon-style three-dimensional characters are superimposed on beautiful hand-painted backgrounds, creating a very attractive mix.
