Plot
The action of A Short Tale of Solitude is set after WWI. The main hero is a 10-year-old boy named Sebastien. After death of his parents, he is placed in an orphanage situated in North-East France. As it turns out, the children live there without supervision. Left alone, they established their own communities that fight each other over power and survival.
The plot is divided into 12 chapters happening during one year. There are 60 quests that involve e.g. facing childhood fears and gathering allies.
Technical aspects
Released on PC, A Short Tale of Solitude utilises unusual, black-and-white visuals. The models of characters resembling wooden dolls deserve special recognition.
