Polish platformer characterized by a heavy, dark climate and allowing players to explore the mysterious, shrouded in darkness and fog corners of Walbrzych, such as the Ksiaz Castle or the Chelmiec Mountain. Title 8874 won the Pixel Awards 2018 in the "Best Debut" category, as well as an audience award.

8874 is a dark platform game, the action of which takes place in one of the Polish cities - Walbrzych. The production contains many of the most famous landmarks of the city, such as the Ksiaz Castle, Chelmiec Mountain or the dam in Zagorze. Independent Polish company GroundUpStudio led by Tomasz Gora is responsible for the game's development. The title won the Pixel Awards 2018 in the Best Debut category and was additionally distinguished by the audience.

Plot

The driving force behind the plot of 8874 is mystery. The protagonist wakes up in an unknown place and has no idea whether the things he sees are dreams or reality. What is really happening? Is there any danger in the dark city hidden in the fog?

The story was written by Mirek Lenart and Roman Majewski from RMVision Productions.
