An unofficial sequel to the popular farm game series Harvest Moon, created by Japanese studio Marvelous, who also developed several HM titles. Like its predecessor, Story of Seasons allows us to play as an amateur farmer, who moves to a small, shabby town of Oak Tree. The gameplay is not much different from that of Harvest Moon—you buy seeds, plant and water them, gather crops, and take care of your animals. The biggest novelty in the game is the option to trade with other cities, allowing the players to exchange goods by using Wi-Fi. An important element of Story of Seasons are the social aspects, thanks to which you can actively participate in the life of your town by meeting new people, coming to parties, and even falling in love and starting a family.
Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer

A spin-off of the popular Animal Crossing series by Nintendo. Unlike the other titles in the franchise, Happy Home Designer is not a life simulation game, but a software for designing interiors of the virtual characters' houses. In the game you find a range of options and items allowing you to customize the house according to the character's desires. On the floor you can place carpets, while the rooms can be furnished with bookshelves, benches, tables, wardrobes, or other objects. The gameplay mechanics are very simple, focusing on choosing objects and placing them at the desired spot. The game supports the amiibo cards, which you can scan and invite other characters to the house to chat or to play. The game features the same visual style as the latest Animal Crossing productions.

Another entry in jRPG series from Natsume Inc. The players are taken to the titular Skytree village, located in the land called Oasis of the Harvest Goddess. After the power of the Harvest Goddess began to weaken, the village faced ruin. Our task as an owner of a small farm is to restore the land to its former prosperity, so players must prepare soil for farming, plant seeds and harvest, though they can also go fishing. Unlike previous games in the series, Harvest Moon: Skytree Village allows the players to adjust the terrain to their liking. All of above is presented in three-dimensional, cartoon-like visuals.

An sequel to the 2014 farm game Story of Seasons, created by Marvelous, who also developed e.g. games in the Harvest Moon series. The fundamental mechanics of the gameplay remained unchanged. In the game, you manage a declining farm, trying to restore it to its former glory. You play mostly by taking care of your animals, buying and planting seeds, gathering and selling crops, and also meeting various NPCs. At the same time, the game is more expansive than any other installment of both aforementioned series, and your farm lies close to three large locations, whose specifics and areas differ. This calls for more creativity and looking for new ways to develop your business. Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns also features previously unavailable plants and animals, as well as activities and female characters to romance.
