Another part of the original pinball series, created by Sierra and Dynamix studio. In this version, the authors focused on NASCAR formula races popular in the USA, and the gameplay reflects the course of a typical race, including the preparation of the car in the garage and pit-stop repairs.

3D Ultra NASCAR Pinball is the next installment of the popular pinball series, created by Sierra and Dynamix studio. The fourth part of the game is devoted to NASCAR races, popularized among PC players thanks to the collaboration with Sierra Papyrus studio - authors of the highly acclaimed NASCAR Racing series.

At NASCAR Pinball we return to the three-dimensional tables known from the first parts of the cycle, which this time - according to the game's theme - symbolize the garage, the track and the pit stop. We start by selecting one of the four playable characters that are NASCAR's famous drivers: Dale Earnhardt, Bobby Labonte, Terry Labonte and Bill Elliott. However, our choice does not affect the course of the game itself, but only the audio comments and the decor of the boxes, which are typical for each driver.

The essence of the game comes down to taking part in NASCAR formula races, including car preparation, qualification series, proper race and pit stop. On the table symbolizing the garage, thanks to the points scored, we equip our machine with valuable modifications, useful during each race. Then we have a qualifying series, which, depending on the result, determines our place in the race. During the actual race we compete with other drivers, hitting specific ramps and targets as fast as possible. In the event of an accident or damage to the car, it will be necessary to visit the pit stop, where we carry out repairs, trying to earn as many points as possible in the shortest possible time.

3D Ultra NASCAR Pinball uses a modified graphics engine, so the game takes advantage of greater color depth and resolution up to 800x600 pixels. On the game's CD, the publishers have added an interesting informational part, containing texts and videos about NASCAR races. Due to the lower popularity and brand recognition in Europe, the version of the game released on the old continent has been renamed 3D Ultra Pinball: Turbo Racing.
