Sandbox action-RPG in a "minecraft" style. The player takes on the role of a soldier who ends up on a distant planet, where divided factions are waging an endless war. The game allows you to have fun in single or multi-player mode, including in cooperation. The title was produced by independent studio Phr00t's Software.

3079 - Block Action RPG is the work of independent studio Phr00t's Software. The ambition of the creators was to combine a Minecraft style game with first person shooter (FPS) and cRPG in a randomly generated, open world.

The plot of the main campaign takes place in 3079. Many planets full of life have been discovered in space, one of which is a never-ending war between factions. The player takes on the role of a soldier, who is sent to this place with the task of discovering what is at the root of the conflict and, if possible, how to resolve it.

The game has a sandbox character. Locations, most events and NPCs, and even missions (except for those related to the main campaign threads) are generated randomly. The player has a great deal of freedom in developing the skills of the main character, exploring and transforming the world, performing tasks, driving vehicles, and even producing the necessary weapons or even building defensive fortifications.

The game offers several fun modes. In addition to the fictionalised single-player campaign, there is also the possibility of multiplayer online gameplay, including co-op option. Noteworthy are the built-in social features that allow you to send messages to your friends via Twitter.

From the technical side, the 3079 is based on the capabilities of the iMonkeyEngine engine, also used in games such as PirateHell or Gentrieve 2. It offers a successful compromise between high quality (as for independent production) three-dimensional graphics and relatively low hardware requirements.
