Action games. Wide category of games that require reflex, accuracy and agility. It includes, among other things, shooters (e.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield series) and action-adventure games (Tomb Raider). First and third person perspective (FPP/TPP) is used. In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. We can use a wide range of weapons, including pistols, rocket launchers, swords, knives and like. Action-adventure is a particular category within action games genre. Such titles put less emphasis on action and combat, focusing more on story, exploration and puzzles.

A sequel to a well-received FPS game developed by Volition. Red Faction II is set five years after the events depicted in the original game, when a civil war breaks out in the Commonwealth. The player assumes the role of Alias - an explosives expert belonging to a team of six super nanosoldiers. The protagonist joins a rebellion against Victor Sopot's totalitarian regime. In terms of mechanics, Red Faction II expands the patterns introduced in the first installment.

Continuation of the popular tactical shooting studio Novalogic. Again, we play the role of the title soldier of the United States' special army unit. The authors prepared 40 new missions and significantly improved the graphic design. The game can be played solo or in multiplayer mode.
