A three-dimensional shooter in which the action was presented from the perspective of a third person. We play the role of a mercenary as he traverses the postapocalyptic wilderness inhabited by zombies in search of medicines and supplies for the last bastions of mankind.
2013: Infected Wars is a third-person shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by zombies. The game was created by Action Mobile Games studio - this title is their debut work. It is worth mentioning that the game debuted originally in 2013 on mobile devices with the iOS system. The console port has been adapted to work with a new control model using standard console buttons.
Plot
The action of the game takes place in 2013. The world stood on the brink of destruction when a group of terrorists, using a mysterious virus, attacked the most important cities of the West. The epidemic soon escaped from control spread throughout the world, turning most of its inhabitants into dangerous mutants and zombies. Players take on the role of a mercenary who leaves the safe walls of humanity's last bastions in search of the necessary supplies and medicines.
Mechanics
The gameplay model doesn't differ from the standards typical for the genre. Players use weapons to eliminate enemies and complete tasks that are mainly about exploring specific spots on the map. Players can choose one of the four character classes, which can gain new skills. Among the available weapons, you will find 14 types of firearms, from standard guns to rocket launchers. In the course of the game, we will face not only ordinary zombies but also extremely fast and strong mutants and powerful bosses.
Technical aspects
The graphics design in 2013: Infected Wars isn't at the highest level. Blurred textures, quite simple 3D models, and rather weak animations of enemies and the main character.
