18 Floors is a puzzle game created for virtual reality goggles. The producer of the title is a Chinese studio Aoga Tech specializing in VR technology. Its publisher is Winking Entertainment.

Mechanics

18 Floors uses an escape room convention. The player's task is to get out of a series of closed rooms. The key to opening a door is to solve a variety of connected logical puzzles. These are mechanical, graphic and mathematical puzzles, as well as various two-dimensional and three-dimensional puzzles. Each of the fantastic rooms was built in a different style. We can find ourselves in an elegantly furnished chamber, an old warehouse or the interior of a train traveling under the surface of the ocean.

It is worth mentioning that the creators of the title were inspired by the Chinese legend about 18 levels of hell. The game contains many references to the culture, tradition and folklore of the Middle Kingdom.

Technical aspects

18 Floors has a high quality realistic three-dimensional graphic design. On PCs, the title supports Oculus Rift and HTC Vive goggles. On PlayStation 4, the title requires both PlayStation VR and PlayStation Move motion controllers.
