Theme Hospital Description
After the success of Theme Park, Bullfrog decided to create another similar game, but moved it to a hospital. In Theme Hospital, the player becomes an owner of a hospital, and his goal is to manage the place and take care of its development. It is crucial to take care of every important aspect of the hospital life, starting from the room equipment and doctors’ offices, through hiring the right personnel, to conducting medical research. By doing our job right, our hospital gets better reputation, and so more clients are attracted to its services.
Life of a hospital director is not easy, though. It is crucial to build new rooms and buy new equipment to make both the patients and the staff happy. Staying up to date with technology is very important for it decreases the risk of post-operation deaths. Because the game is meant for rather younger players, the developers decided to take a humorous approach to the whole matter. Only patients with petty ailments come to our hospital, so even not so much qualified paramedic could successfully deal with what ails them.
