Sid Meier's Gettysburg Description
The Battle of Gettysburg made history as the biggest and bloodiest battle of the entire American Civil War. It was a turning point in the war, when the core forces of both sides of the conflict clashed. As we know, the Union (the North) won and the Confederates (the South) were pretty much retreating until the war ended. Sid Meier, a legendary developer, decided to faithfully recreate the battle and to let us take direct control of both sides’ military which potentially means changing the historical outcome of the Battle of Gettysburg. His efforts resulted in Sid Meier's Gettysburg.
