SHOCK: Parked in the lot for years, now chasing fighters.

Remember when Rey first boarded the Millennium Falcon? Chances are she'd never piloted a space ship before – she was a broke scrapper. Yet her piloting skills equaled Han Solo. But I get it – Anakin and Luke were great pilots too, even though they grew up in the desert. Ok, I suppose the Force can work like that, but that's not the issue.

The issue is the Millennium Falcon – this ship broke when it flew and broke when it stood in the hangar. Meanwhile, when Rey found it on Jakku (quite a chance, isn't it?), she just turned the ignition and off she went!

Other ships endured more. In the ninth episode, we see a ship that for decades lay at the bottom of the sea and did not even need the screws to be tightened before space travel. But the Falcon? The fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy? Discovering it is so random and improbable. Too many cases at once.
