Dishonored 2. Missing in action – the most anticipated games lost in development hell

Table of Contents

Nothing gets the people talking, as much as a juicy rumor regarding one of the best gaming surprises in recent memory. In 2012, many fell in love with Arkane Studios’ stylish stealth game Dishonored. As the game has achieved both an artistic and commercial success, it’s only natural to await a sequel. Without a doubt one is in the works, but as of now, only rumors have surfaced.

Twice this year did anonymous sources contact the media with a bunch of details, but as of now, nothing has been confirmed. Dishonored II supposedly carries a subtitle Darkness of Tyvia and features a brand new protagonist. The game is rumored to debut in late 2015, or early 2016. Taking into account that the game was supposed to appear at E3 and gamescom last year (but as we all know it didn’t) and the publisher doesn’t comment on rumors, all suspect the leaks to be part of a mere hoax. Nevertheless, something is going on, and we can be certain that Dishonored won’t be forgotten. This universe is yet to host more grim stories.
